Good Afternoon Everyone, San Antonio has issued a “stay at home” for Bexar County. People are not to venture out of their homes unless it’s for medical appointments, emergencies, medications , or food. They are told to use social distance of 6 ft. They are trying
to “flatten the curve” and decrease the COVID-19 by requesting people stay home. Since Methodist Healthcare Ministries’ office is in San Antonio, They sent out a text for all Wesley Nurses to work from home. So I will be at home starting today. Please don’t
hesitate to email me for any questions/concerns. I will be calling people to see how they are doing.
Remember to wash your hands frequently x 20 seconds. Remember social distancing (6 ft.) if you are out in public. Use a Kleenex for coughing or sneezing. If you don’t have a tissue, cough or sneeze into your upper sleeve, not your hands.
Remember to wash your hands afterwards. Washing hands and social distancing are good preventive measures.
Check on one another. Call your neighbors, friends, and family. Use Facebook, text, or phone. Let each other know you care. Find out if someone needs anything, if there are emergencies. Some people live alone without families close by.
They would welcome a friendly voice. It’s sad and lonely to feel alone and isolated.
Reminders:
Exercise classes at FUMC are closed for the present. Census2020 Celebration April 1st is
cancelled. Please remember to complete your census when your letter arrives in the mail (either thru mail, phone, or on-line). The instructions will be in the letter. TX Mission of Mercy Free Dental Clinic scheduled April 17th and
18th is cancelled. They are working on trying to get this dental clinic rescheduled. If it does not get scheduled for this year, we will do it next year.
If you know of someone who does not have computer access, please share this information with them, either thru phone or text, or going to see them but please remember the social distancing of 6 ft. and do not enter the home. It is healthier
to err on the side of caution, rather than take a risk and make a mistake. Again, please feel free to email me with any questions. My email address is at the bottom of this message.
Thank you for being the kind, compassionate community that you are. You warm my heart with your thoughtfulness and loving ways.
God’s Blessings to each of you…He is with us always. Charlotte Johnson, Wesley Nurse
