I want to thank the Mertzon church for their amazing contributions to help the 
asylum-seekers in Del Rio. Today our trip found us helping 12 families. The 
people's eyes light up when they can choose a pair of shoes and get socks. The 
clothes available are good to put on after a shower is made available. 
Things are pretty good at the Val Verde Humanitarian Border Coalition. There 
are many who are bringing items to help with the needs that are constantly 
presenting themselves to the volunteers and the families. However, the need is 
constant.
Thank you again for your tremendous heart. Today was a good day. You each with 
your contribution made a difference in another person's life. Today love looked 
like food, clothing, people to speak to them in their own language and laughing 
children.
