Dear Church family, 


I wanted to provide you all with the latest on Hubert Payton. First, Tom wanted 
to thank all of you for your continued support and prayers. 
Hubert will be moved to either the hospital or nursing home in Eldorado, 
Schleicher County Medical facility and there he will be placed into hospice 
care. 
This will not happen until at least Monday Sept. 12th. 


I know that we are all very anxious to help them in any way we can, but I would 
encourage you to wait until Hubert is settled into the facility and hospice has 
been in to begin the process. This can be a long and arduous process for the 
family and because Hubert is being transferred back from San Antonio it may be 
even more of a process. 
The pastor in Sonora, Bill Harris, has been very good at keeping all informed 
of the latest events as they transpire. I want to do the same for all of you. 


Another concern I am sure you will want to be made aware of is with Tommy 
Watson. He had been improving and the doctors were hopeful, but he took a turn 
for the worse and has been placed back on the ventilator to help him breathe. 
He has also been placed on dialysis to help his kidneys do their job. 


Harvey Hale has received a diagnosis and will be heading to M.D. Anderson in 
Houston for a second opinion and treatment regiment. Wonderful news is that any 
treatment that Harvey will undergo can be done in San Angelo and not Houston. 
That is a great blessing to him and the family. 


As you can tell our prayers are greatly needed for these families. Let us 
continue to lift them up to the Lord.
