Good Morning congregation.
This coming Sunday, February 19, 2023 at 5 pm we will be having another information meeting relating to our disaffiliation process. Please come. If you have questions or concerns, this is the time and place to get answers.
Also, our next listening session with DS Ricky Sanderford will be February 21, 2023 at 6 pm at the Family Life Center. It will be a Zoom session. Please come and participate with us in this important meeting.
If you haven't been able to attend any of the earlier informational meetings we have had in the past, below are links to them all. The Vimeo link is to Bishop Schnase's talks. He has several talks, not just one. So feel free to listen to several to get a better understanding of where UMC is from the Bishop's point of view.

We played a couple of these youtube videos each session. We interspersed with the Vimeo videos from Bishop Schnase. We also showed short youtube videos of Penny Cost and other LGBTQ folks so our congregation would know what is going on in the wider UMC. Those are listed below:
There is also an announcement regarding the newly selected male California Bishop who is married to another man, https://www.umnews.org/en/news/western-elects-cedrick-bridgeforth-as-bishop. This was shown as part of the American based UMC choosing no conservative bishops to be elected this year in the U.S.
