The ministerial alliance recently met and came up with a wonderful idea. Mike Hamilton’s family Christian fellowship church is going to join us for this fifth Sunday lunch. (The 29th) They are going to pick up elderly people in the community and bring them to this lunch in our facility and they are going to prepare soup and stew for them to take home. We will be providing the desserts and cornbread or crackers for the folks to take home. We can pick up families that need this also. I will be contacting Jaime Tankersley to coordinate with Nori Callaway and Shonna Parks. Everyone I’ve talked to is excited about doing this. It is another way we can minister to our community.
