Good Afternoon Everyone,

I have some information for those who qualify and need assistance with open enrollment for the Affordable Care Act/Marketplace Insurance. Enrollment begins today. Please see the information below:

The telephone number to reach a representative to assist with open enrollment is 1-800-318-2596. The representative at this number can answer all your questions/ concerns. This service is open 24 hours a day and 7 days/week. The following information is needed before making the call:

Need social security number
Address
Birthday
Information on how you file taxes
Yearly income for everyone in household
Best estimate for 2022 income (you will need to call Marketplace back to update income if it changes)
Information on any existing medical coverage in the last 60 days

The Representative told me open enrollment is 11/1/2021 to 12/15/21 to have insurance by 1/1/2022. For insurance to start by 2/1/2022, you will have until 1/15/2022 to enroll. I tried to go online to access some of this information but that particular site isn’t available yet. The rep did not think it was up yet either, but should be soon.
