Good Morning Everyone, I have had the holidays on my mind and how we all need to celebrate the holidays, which will be a little different this year. The virus is still out there and It is possible to be asymptomatic (positive for COVID
and not have symptoms, but still able to spread it). According to CDC (Centers for Disease Control), “the virus that causes COVID-19 can be spread to others by infected persons who have few or no symptoms. Even if an infected person is only mildly ill, the people
they spread it to may become seriously ill or even die, especially if that person is at risk 65 years or older, pre-existing health conditions that place them at higher risk. Because of the hidden nature of this threat, everyone should rigorously follow
these practices: wear a mask, maintain 6 ft. social distancing, and frequent handwashing x 20 seconds, or if no handwashing facility available use hand sanitizer that is at least 60% alcohol. The virus that causes COVID-19 is still circulating in our communities.
We should continue to observe practices that protect everyone, including those who are most vulnerable”. I am concerned for everyone’s welfare so I have included an information link from CDC on holidays and gatherings. Please click of this link for the most current updated information from CDC (updated 11/9/2020): https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/daily-life-coping/holidays.html
May God bless each one of you and keep you safe. Charlotte, Wesley Nurse
