How very true. Our Pastor Mark is a man with many gifts and he is an answer to many prayers. In our connectional denomination we rarely get to know the knowledge, skill and abilities of the person coming to our pulpit before they arrive to say “Hi, I’m your new pastor”. There are always “growing pains” for all concerned but it is such a blessing as we grow together to come to realize  it is all part of God’s plan to build the church and make disciples for his Son, our Lord. We thank God for you both.

I just want to take a minute and say thank you to my Pastor.  He is my husband but he is also my Pastor. I am privileged to see a side of him that most don’t. I see him drop everything to be at yours or your loved ones bedside. I see him drop everything and pray for you. I see family dinners and time with his kids and grandson interrupted because someone needs him.

He has missed family outings and grandsons ballgames because someone in the church is hospitalized or dying or there is a funeral-or a wedding. He has made hospital calls at 3am because he was asked to come.  He has never refused anyone anything.  I see him hurting, I see him frustrated, I see him praying for each and everyone of you and loving God EVERY SINGLE DAY and doing Gods work.  We have had a lot of pastors in our life we have been hurt by our pastors and we have been mad at them, disagreed with them but we have been so loved by them just as Pastor Mark and I Love y’all.

So I just want to say to my Pastor Thank you for ALL you do for your CHURCH and congregation.  We love our Church family.
