Response to West District Border Mission

VVBHC (Val Verde Border Humanitarian Coalition) to which FUMC recently contributed diapers/wipes/ointment has moved into its building and there are volunteers helping with meals, clothing and paper work to help the asylum-seekers move on their way to

their destination.

This ministry is in need of additional donations:

1. socks/undies (adult/children, all sizes)
2. children’s crafts/games
3. non-perishable food items (travel size snacks, i.e. nuts, juice boxes, chips, crackers, peanut butter, jelly, trail mix) 

A collection box will be available in the foyer of FUMC Mertzon.

35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.
