As many may know, the FUMC of Mertzon is embarking on a potential project to 
construct a multipurpose building. Planning is in the very early stages. The 
details of construction are under prayerful consideration and the congregation 
and community will be brought alongside the building committee in the near 
future.
What the project needs now from you – and our community – is a commitment to 
cover this project – its missional vision and outreach opportunity – in 
purposeful, intentional, committed, visionary PRAYER. With Pastor Krause’s 
permission and the endorsement of the Administrative Counsel, we will be 
rolling out a PRAYER INITIATIVE in the weeks and months to come.
Pastor Krause has committed to pray for this project in each worship service. 
For now, we ask that you add this project to your daily prayers. Pray that God 
will guide every step in the purpose, planning, and participation of the 
project. PRAY big, opened, seeking prayers for guidance from the Holy Spirit 
and make this a part of your daily discipline.
Please share this request with friends, family and community members. Our 
desire is first and foremost that this project- should it go forward- be a 
community, missional space for all- that is Kingdom building and reaches all 
people for the glory of God.
