Dear Church family, 




I am writing to inform you all that Teresa Whitley has resigned her position as 
Wesley Nurse with the Methodist Health Ministries effective January 31, 2018. 




It is Teresa’s express desire to continue her support of this church and the 
residents of Irion County. Her decision to resign lies solely with her working 

relationship involving Methodist Health Ministries. She remains as always, a 
vital and important member of this community of faith. 




First United Methodist Church of Mertzon continues to work closely with 
Methodist Health Ministries to secure another Wesley Nurse for our community. 

I have expressed the need for health care in Irion County and I am assured that 
Methodist Health Ministries desires to place a Wesley Nurse in our location. 

As with any process, it will take time to work through that selection process. 
I would ask that you make this a matter of prayer.
